Italy was fabulous! The yacht in Sardinia was amazing, we even went to Corsica one day. Our beautiful villa outside Positano had sea views from every room, and we hosted a great dinner party for friends from Rome. My father and uncle can't stop talking about their wild boar hunt in Tuscany, and the rest of us sent cases of our own vintage home after the private wine making experience. Pure Indulgence...
The private flight from San Juan this morning was smooth, spiced up by the excitement of the landing at St Barth's petite airport. You and another couple have reserved the amazing 4-bedroom Royal Suite at the Hotel Carl Gustaf, and now you relax on its stunning terrace overlooking Gustavia Harbor and its plethora of boats below. The hotel has sent a bottle of your favorite champagne as well as a selection of canapés to enjoy along with the sunset, after all, the views don't get much better than this. As you and your friends dangle your legs in the plunge pool, you scan the harbor to see if you can find the speedboat you've hired for a day on the water tomorrow – ah – there she is! Soon it will be time to get ready for dinner at Maya's, but even better is the invitation you've received to a party afterwards on one of the mega-yachts, in port for the season.
